The original Goeff Bougourd studio at Haunch of Venison Yard.
In the late 1980s the first Apple Mac computers signaled to the forward thinking
that change was on the way. At this point Geoff Bougourd worked out of (Admiral
Lord) Nelson's former home just off London's Bond Street. Now the home of the
avant-garde gallery, Haunch Of Venison.
Nelson House
was
filled by Bougourd with some of the most talented in design, illustration, photography
and fashion magazine production. Designers for the music industry The Design
Corporation, Photographers; Nick Clements, Corrine Day and many others all found
homes there during that period as well as cutting edge fashion magazine Unique
(the first men's fashion publication in 1980s London). Those people have now
all developed into international players in the world of design and photography.
